So what can I expect?

Hypnotherapy is always likely to involve hypnosis but it is also a very flexible process that can utilise a number of different techniques. Each person is unique, so the way we work together is always tailored to you. We will explore your goals, experiences and current challenges, and allow the right approach to emerge naturally. 


Some of my clients benefit from a single, focused method, while others experience deeper change through a combination of techniques. This approach allows you to benefit from a variety of methods, giving you the most effective route to measurable, lasting results.

Hypnosis

Therapeutic hypnosis is a gentle yet powerful process that guides you into a calm, focused state where your mind becomes more receptive to positive change. You remain fully aware and in control throughout. In this relaxed state, we access your inner resources, helping you release unhelpful patterns, strengthen resilience and create meaningful, lasting change - all led by your mind’s own natural ability to heal and grow. 

Neuro Linguistic Programming

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) explores how your thoughts, language and behaviours shape your experience of life. By changing unhelpful patterns and beliefs, NLP helps you respond differently to challenges, allowing you to create positive change using skills you already possess. 

Integrated Eye Movement Therapy

Sometimes past experiences leave behind emotional “fingerprints” - anxiety, fear, shame or low confidence - even when we know logically that the event is over. Through simple eye movements IEMT helps your brain reprocess those memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional response. The memory doesn’t disappear; it just loses its emotional charge. Many people describe it as turning the volume down or creating distance, so they can think and respond more calmly in the present.

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is often known as tapping. It is a gentle yet powerful method that combines focused awareness with light tapping on specific points of the body. This process helps calm the nervous system, release emotional blocks and reduce stress. 

It can help you feel calmer, clearer and more grounded after just a few minutes, and it’s a practical tool you can use anytime to support your emotional wellbeing.

Meditation

More and more people are discovering how meditation helps the body, mind, and emotions; but getting started can still feel tricky. Let me show you a simple, reliable technique that gets you into a calm, relaxed state in under a minute. Give it a try and you’ll quickly notice a sense of clarity and balance that you may have been missing in your life.

Breathwork

Breathwork uses controlled breathing to regulate the nervous system and reduce stress.

Slow, intentional breathing activates the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) response, lowering heart rate, reducing cortisol and calming the mind. This helps to improve your emotional regulation, focus and overall wellbeing.
